| One of today's biggest paradoxes, is that, if half of the world population lives in cities, an increasing number of them feel lonely, and do not even talk to their neighbours... Imagine now 20 or 30 households: each has its own dwelling, but they also share some common rooms and activities. In that sense, cohousing makes urban life easier and more fun for both adults and children, while preserving a high level of privacy. The cohousing movement started 30 years ago in Denmark, and is now booming worldwide. This documentary, based on interviews in 14 cohousings, shows that another urban life is possible. |
